Step 5:

We need to spray paint this frame to prevent reoccurrence of fungus. (Skip this step and you’ll most likely be back in a few years redoing this procedure).

Place a paper towel or something similar in the tube housing in preparation for spray painting the frame. Wrap the entire thing up in old newspapers (or equivalent) to avoid getting spray paint on anything other then the frame surface that you want to paint.
