Here’s a few more offshore companies that you’ve never heard of that make lots of gadgets, speakers and plasma TVs..

This Koncept light company is making desk lights that use low voltage high intensity LEDs with about 20,000 hours of life span. Look carefully at the light emitted from these lamps. The one on the left is very yellow, and looked very close to an incandescent bulb output. The one on the right is the more traditional bluish light that is emitted from so-called ‘white’ LED light.

Lots of companies were finally offering HDMI extenders. While not cheap (yet), the longest claimed run for an HDMI cable is 330 feet.

Did you know I own a media company? Neither did I!

Another offshore company, Hisense did offer some slimline CRT televisions. While not nearly as shallow as plasma TVs, the tube was very flat and was more shallow than comparable older CRT sets.
