Sharp did have some effective a/b comparisons on display:


Toshiba was bragging about their new Regza line of flat screens. You can see that their color burst technology enhanced the color levels, even in this screen shot. However, that was a fault that I saw on many displays, particularly a lot of DLP screens: The overall color level was too high. It made a lot of images look Technicolor or cartoonish. People should have natural fleshtones, not ones that are massively orange. It was a trend that I didn’t find appealing.
