All of the large manufacturers like NEC were on display as well. NEC has always made reliable high quality display products..

An impressive display was from Westinghouse of all things. Now owned by CBS, they were the only ones showing off a 4K display, that’s 3840 X 2160 pixels! While they were only running graphics displays (video content doesn’t display that high yet!) it was still a very impressive looking unit:


Naturally their booth also had a lot of 1080p devices…


Just for fun, Kenwood had some tube equipment on display showing their history in the consumer electronics business..
