Samsung had a large display, similar to last year’s show. Again, Samsung had very good looking flat screen displays in general. I can still see rainbows on all single chip DLPs whether flat screen or projection. Or can I? (more on that later!). Here’s Samsung’s 102” plasma:


Panasonic had their typical large booth setup. Here’s some of their offerings:


Sharp also had lots to show. Not to be outdone, they came out with their 108” LCD display. Unlike the opinion in the links at the end of this report, I found this display to be relatively poor in quality. There was lots of mosquito noise, and their LCD panel showed misconvergence (or at least red bleeding) in the upper left corner.). Still, it was the largest flat screen display at the show.
