Here again is a list of used projectors for sale.
There's lots of new items this time.
For those of you new to this list, welcome. If you want off the list,
just email me and I'll take you off right away.
A quick note about my projectors: I thoroughly go through each projector
that I sell, and do numerous modifications as are relevant to each set.
BArcos get several parts changed in the power supply, solder connections
redone, etc. Marquees get some power supply modifications, etc. I then
test run each set for 20-30 hours to ensure long term reliability. If I
do not feel that a set will last at least 5000 hours, then I scrap it
for parts. There are now several models of sets that I will not sell due
to lack of parts availability, and I always try to keep a good selection
of parts in stock.
I have no problems sending out loaner parts, but of course if customers
are late in sending them back, then my parts availability is
compromised. So PLEASE! if you have parts that I have sent you on loan,
or crates and road cases that you're supposed to send back to me, please
do so in a timely manner!.. :)
Onto the list!
As usual, all prices are in US dollars.
1- Sony 1042. a video only projector, this set has 650 lumens, 7" Sony
tube, video and S-video inputs, analog convergence that is easy to set
up, a reliable chassis, and is small and quiet in operation. A great
starter projector that throws a great picture.
$550.00
1- Sony 1030. Similar to the 1042 above, but this unit will accept a
line doubler. No S-video input, but it does have a regular video input.
Same picture quality as the 1042 above. Tubes in great shape.
$550.00
1- Barco 600. This is an analog convergence projector like the Sonys
above. The advantage of the Barco is that it scans to 42 Khz, making it
ideal for HTPC's and line doublers. The unit uses the same tubes as the
Sonys above, and are in great shape. Note that this projector has RGB
inputs, it will need a Barco RCVDS 4 video switcher if you want to run
video or S-video signals into it. The tubes are in great shape, and
should last 7000-8000 hours.
$600.00
1- Ampro 1500. This is the predecessor to the Ampro 2000 and has analog
convergence. It scans to 42 Khz, has 600 lumens light output from 7"
Sony tubes, and is similar to the Barco 600, but newer. Video and RGB
inputs. I will include the original Ampro 1500 wired remote for the set.
I do not currently have the manual for the set, but it's a very simple
set up, and I can guide you via phone or email. Lots of pictorials on
the convergence panel make this set self explanatory.
$550.00.
Ampro 2000 G. This is the projector that I had listed a while back when
my email glitched and I was not able to respond to the interested
parties that inquired about this unit. It has a low 10 hours on the
tubes, 11 on the chassis. A perfect picture! No tube wear at all. 80 Khz
scan rate, digital convergence and on screen menus, RGB input only, 600
lumens from Sony 7" tubes, a very low ceiling profile (10" high) making
it suitable for low ceilings. These sets are controlled via a serial
cable from a PC computer with software that I will email you. Easy to
set up, full manuals included.
$850.00
1- Ampro D 2000. Similar to the above but with 42 Khz scan rate maximum.
Video, S-video and RGB inputs. I have no accurate hour count as the
meter glitched and reads in the millions of hours, but judging by the
tubes, the 'on' time is well under 3000 hours.
$600.00
1- Sony 1272. I had this one on ebay and got shafted by a deadbeat
buyer. This is the top of the line Sony 127X series, with 92 Khz scan
rate, 7 1/2" tubes, video, S-video and RGB inputs, digital convergence
with on screen menus, 21 point convergence, etc. About 4500 running
hours on the set, but less total 'on' time on the CRT's. A great
picture, perfect for use with a line doubler or tripler or HDTV.
$1350.00
2- NEC 6 PG. One of these is a GE 601 which is the same as an NEC 6 PG
+, the other is an NEC 6 PG +. The GE is charcoal in color, the NEC is
cream. Both have the following features:
-60 Khz scan rate
-7 1/2" EM focus tubes
-800 lumens
-digital convergence, on screen menus, 99 input memories
As most of you know, the NEC's are my favorite when it comes to
fleshtones. The sets are quiet, relatively small and reliable.
The GE has the point convergence board installed which helps fine tune
the convergence at higher scan rates. The GE has only RGB inputs. The
NEC has a video/S-video board installed but no point convergence board.
The GE has 570 CRT hours, the NEC has 989 hours, and both sets have
perfect original tubes. Both come with wireless remotes. These sets will
easily last 8500-9500 hours.
$1800.00 each
1- Barco 1208/2 Only 3800 hours on the chassis with original tubes in
great shape. 135 Khz scan rate, 1200 lumens out of 8" EM focus tubes,
video, S-video and RGB inputs, digital convergence, on screen menus,
etc. etc. One step above the popular Barco 808 model. An excellent high
end set, very close in picture quality to the NEC XG series with a much
easier set up. As these tubes are original, I can sell this unit for
significantly less than the normal $4300.00 price with rebuilt tubes.
$3200.00
1- Electrohome Marquee 8500. The flagship 8" set from Electrohome. 1200
lumens, 135 Khz scan rate. RGB inputs 8" EM focus tubes. Has new B and G
tubes from VDC. Digital convergence and on screen menus. Great operating
condition and a very easy set up. Quiet operation and a great picture.
$3800.00
1- NEC XG-110LC. It's been a while since I have had one of these, and I
currently have no others on the way to me. This one is immaculate. 3200
hours on the chassis, the green tube is new due to text burn, the R and
B are perfect. 110 Khz scan rate. 1200 lumens, liquid coupled tubes,
video, S-video and RGB inputs, lots of on screen menus, a flawless
picture. 120 Mhz video bandwidth, a top of the line 8" projector,
comparable to the Marquee 8500LC. Case in great shape, no scratches. c/w
wireless remote and ceiling bracket if you need it.
$5200.00
Not Quite Ready yet:
1- Barco Data P/C. This is the predecessor to the BArco 400 and 600.
Analog convergence, 36 Khz scan rate, 600 lumens. I normally do not sell
sets this old, but this one is in great shape, has video and RGB inputs,
uses Sony SD-130 tubes, and currently has a minor fault in the blue
color section. I'll sell this one cheap...
$400.00
1- NEC 6 PG Xtra. Similar to the 9PG Xtra below, this one scans to 64
Khz, good for up to line quadrupling. This one will have new B and G
tubes in it.
$2750.00
2- NEC 9 PG Xtra- This set is the last version of the popular PG series
of projectors. They use a true 8" tube with 1000 lumens brightness. This
one scans to 92 Khz and has video, S-video and RGB inputs. A similar
picture to the XG series without the expense. This one will have new B
and G tubes in it due to text burn on the originals, and only 1900 hours
on the chassis. c/w wireless remote and manual. Optional point
convergence board included.
$2900.00 each
1- Marquee 8110 Plus with ACON. This set needs all three tubes replaced.
135 Khz scan rate, 1200 lumens, from 8" MEC tubes, video, S-video and
RGB inputs, etc. Case in good shape, an excellent picture.
$4300.00
1- Marquee 8500. The top of the line 8" EM focus set from Electrohome.
135 Khz scan rate. 1200 lumens, video, S-video and RGB inputs. Digital
convergence, lots of on screen menus. An easy set up. Power supply has
been modified to prevent premature tube burnout as was problematic with
some of these sets. Has recent VDC green tube installed. Currently
waiting for a new VDC blue.
$4200.00
I have about 30 more sets in stock, with another 15 on the way. Lots
more Ampros and BArco 808's coming in, as well as 1208's, Sony 12xx
series, etc, etc.
I will spend the next few days answering emails as I am behind. I will
make sure all emails are answered by Wednesday. Thanks for your support!
