Here again is another list of used projectors for
sale. If you want off this list, just shoot me an email and I'll take
you off right away.
I have a few new units in this week, but I'll have about 30, yes 30
Ampro 2000's in within the next 2 weeks. Those are great little 7"
projectors similar to the ECP series or the Sony 10XX< but with higher
scan rates. Fully HDTV ready. I'll know more about them when I get them,
but needless to say I'll have stock for a while. So fro those of you
looking for a good <$1000.00 USD projector, hang in there, there's lots
coming in.
Onto what's on hand:
1- Sony 1031. I will hang onto this one for a week, as I have a number
of 1031 boards that I want to test in this set. This projector uses the
same tubes as the Ampro 2000 described above. A great little starter
set, it has video and RGB inputs, and will scan to 36 Khz, good for HDTV
or line doubling. 600 lumens light output. Analog convergence that is
easy to set up, reliable and quiet, as well as small for those tight
spaces. Tubes in good shape, should be good for about 7000 hours.
$550.00
1 Barco Graphics 800. A step above the Sony 1031 and the AmPRo 2000's,
this set uses larger 8" Sony tubes for 825 lumens. Digital convergence
with on screen menus, 92 Khz scan rate, modular construction for easy
servicing. Video, S-video and RGB inputs. I sell a lot of these units
with excellent results. Simple to set up, and a great image. Tubes again
in very good shape, should last at least 7000 hours. c/w wireless remote
control On ebay here:

$900.00
1- BArco 701s. In the same performance league as the 800 above, this set
puts out 1000 lumens thanks to 7" Toshiba tubes. 50 Khz scan rate make
it good up to line tripling, and this set has component, video, S-video
and RGB inputs. A very small projector, similar to the Sony 1031 in
size, dead quiet, 110 and 220V operation (actually, all Barcos are 110
and 220 Volt compatible.). Tubes in excellent shape, under 900 hours on
this set. Wireless remote included. On ebay here:

$1800.00
NEC 6 and 9 PG. It's been a while since I've had these units in. I
decided to concentrate on NEC's this weekend, and got a few refurbished.
These are 800 lumen projectors from 7 1/2" EM focus tubes, which gives a
razor sharp image. The 6 PG has the RGB inputs only activated, and the
tubes are in excellent shape. According to the hour meter, there's only
724 tube hours, but I think the meter has been reset. Still good for at
least 8000 hours, these tubes do have lots of life left. Wireless remote
included, the 6 PG was also marketed as the GE 601. I've gone through
and replaced the convergence chips that occasionally fail on these sets,
I'm doing that with all NEC PG projectors now. The 6 PG scans to 60 Khz,
good for just past line tripling, the 9 PG scans to 90 Khz.
The 6 PG is here:

$1500.00
The 9 PG is here:

Note that the 9 PG also has the video and S-video card installed.
$1800.00 .
1- Barco G 808. Retubed with new G and B tubes, the red is original with
no wear on it. A high end 8" EM focus projector with 1200 lumens, Video,
S-video and RGB inputs, on screen menus, digital convergence, a very
quiet projector. 110 Khz scan rate make this set good for about 1600 X
1200 resolution. Super sharp, very reliable and fully modular. Again, I
sell lots of these every year with excellent results. Wireless remote
included. On eBay here:

$3500.00
2 NEC XG projectors. I have a select amount of NEC XG projectors in
stock, including some LC models that I'll get to look at shortly. These
two are non LC models, that throw a razor sharp image from 8" EM focus
tubes. 1200 lumens, on screen menus, digital convergence, the most
comprehensive set up menus of all projectors IMHO. I personally used an
XG 75, and have now switched to an XG 110. Excellent with all scalars,
HTPC's, HDTV, etc.etc. The XG 852 listed scans to 85 Khz, and has
component video inputs along with video, S-video and RGB. The XG 135
scans to 135 Khz and does not have a component input. As many of you
know, I love the XG projectors! A little harder to set up than others,
but well worth it if you have the patience (or can bring someone in to
set it up for you if you donot want to do it yourself.
I've set the price of both of these at $3500.00 each.
The XG 852 is here:

Here's the XG 135:

I also have a number of non projector items listed on eBay this week.
I've been cleaning out the closets so to speak, and have found all sorts
of interesting items. Just click on my other eBay auctions on their site
to see what you 'must-have'.
This week I'll be getting to more XG's as some more tubes came in. I'll
also be filling parts orders, the emails have been coming in faster than
I can deal with them, so hang in there please and I'll get to you.
One last thing: I am looking for someone to supply me with some NEC PG
power supplies. I could use 3 or 4 of them. Cash or trade, whatever you
prefer. I'm also looking for someone interested in repairing switch mode
power supplies. If anyone knows someone familiar with these tricky
units, I do have schematics, and can send a regular supply of defective
units for repair.
Thanks for your support!
