Here again is another large list of projectors and assorted equipment for sale. As always, prices are in US dollars. If you want off this list, just shoot me a quick email, and I'll take you off right away.

I've decided this week to list almost all of the projectors that I have in stock. I've had many inquiries from people looking for somewhat hard to find parts, and am therefore offering some of my working chassis (usually with weak tubes) as an inexpensive way for you to get 100% parts redundancy for your working projector. They're listed separately under the refurbished units. All modifications that I do to refurb units will also be done to the 'as-is' chassis, to make sure the replacement modules will be as reliable as possible. Of course, I'll strip any projector for parts to reduce shipping costs at no extra charge.

Onto the list!

REFURBISHED PROJECTORS

1- Runco 750HT. This is the popular video only model projector found in many home theaters and sports bars. This one came out of a local home theater, and is in mint condition. Original manual, mount, remote and ceiling bracket included. 750 lumens from 7" tubes, tubes in excellent shape, analog convergence, on screen menus. Convection cooled for silent operation.

$1300.00

1- BArco Data 701. I have not had a 700 series in a while, this one has a low 3500 hours on it. I've changed the blue tube due to minor wear. This projector is similar to the Electrohome ECP projector series, 700 lumens from Sony 7" tubes. Digital convergence, on screen menus, 50 Khz scan rate, component input (I have to test this still!) and a small chassis that fits well into many home theaters that need a small good looking projector. Video, S-video and RGB inputs. The tubes are in excellent shape, as is the case. It even has the hinged BArco door over the controls intact! c/w wireless remote control.

$1400.00

2- Runco DTV 852. This is the newer data grade version that replaced the 750HT above in about 1997. This is a Zenith based PRO 900x chassis. 850 lumens out of 7" tubes, video, S-video and RGB inputs, along with a built in line doubler. No need to mess with external high def cables, just run all of your video components through your A/V receiver and run a video or S-video line to your projector, the projector will upconvert any regular video signal to 480p or line doubling. Digital convergence, on screen menus, very stable convergence. Very small footprint, quiet operation. This set has no hour counter, but I changed the green tube on both due to slight wear, I'd say each set has about 3500 hours on it. No wear on the B or R original tubes. You'll get 10,000 hours life out of the tubes. c/w ceiling bracket, remote, and I have the original Runco shipping box for one of them. These retailed for $12K USD in 1997-1999. on eBay here:

$2400.00 each

1- NEC 9 PG. This one has all the options, point convergence board and the video/S-video board. The case is clean, and the tubes are in good shape. 90 Khz scan rate from 7 1/2" EM focus tubes, 800 lumens, digital convergence, on screen menus. Video, S-video and RGB inputs, great for HDTV, line doublers, triplers, quads, etc. The hour meter has been reset by someone so I do not have an accurate hour count, but I am guessing about 3000 hours on the tubes. The case is in great shape, c/w wireless remote. On eBay here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15079&item=3024033089

$1800.00

5 Marquee 8500. This is a high end 8" EM focus projector featuring 1200 lumens from MEC tubes. I have a number of these with relatively low hour counts, ranging from 2500 to about 6000. All have digital convergence, on screen menus, modular construction and RGB inputs. I have a few video and S-video boards in stock if someone needs these, but these sets really need a minimum of a line doubler (or tripler or quad) hooked to them for best performance. 135 Khz scan rate make these sets perfect for almost any video source including all formats of HDTV.

All of these sets have excellent cases on them with virtually no marks on them. The B and G tubes have minor 4:3 wear consistent with about 2000-4000 hours of use, the higher hour sets have no more wear than the lower hour sets. Wide 4:3 wear make for an easy set up within the wear area. No need to retube these sets at this point, use as is for a minimum of 5000 hours of enjoyment. c.w wireless remote and manual. One is on eBay here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15079&item=3023657030

The hour counts on these sets are as follows:

3815, 4726, 4372, 6852, 4318. (I have one more in the same condition out on loan to a customer right now, it will be here within the week; similar hour count to the above)

All have the power supply and anamorphic squeeze mod done to them.

$2400.00 each

Of course I can retube these as well, the price goes to $3800.00 each.

1- Marquee 8500 This one has 6811 hours on it, but has no wear on the original tubes. A perfect picture. Same specs as the others above, al mods have been done.

$3300.00

1- Barco Data 808. This is a high end 1200 lumen 8" EM focus set, similar to the Marquee series. 75 Khz scan rate make this set good up to line quadrupling, and it will accept HDTV. Video, S-video and RGB inputs. Digital convergence, on screen menus, very easy to set up. Very quiet operation as are all Barcos. Zone convergence. THE tubes are in excellent condition, they are original Barcos with a hint of wear on the green (still good for 8000 hours), the red and blue are perfect. This projector is currently installed in a customer's house in Seattle that decided to upgrade models. I sold this to him about 2 weeks ago, and he'll be happy to demo it if you're interested. Email me for his email address.

$3000.00

1- Barco 1609. a true 9" liquid coupled set, this set accepts video and S-video inputs along with RGB, and scans all video sources, along with line doubler (HDTV) and line quadrupled signals. The set is in good shape, offers a whopping 1650 lumens, and has digital convergence and on screen menus. Quiet operation, all glass lenses, modular construction, wireless remote included.

On Ebay here:

$2600.00

2 Marquee 9500LC. Here are two more late model top of the line 9" EM focus Electrohome 9500LC projectors. I received four of these in this week. All were made in late 1998-early 1999, and were left on 24 hours a day, resulting in high chassis hours. As many of you know, this is not a problem for the sets, as they are designed to last 50-75K hours, and without the constant on/off switching of the units, they've always been run at operating temperature, which in my opinion actually extends the chassis life. These sets chassis hours are between 25K to 32K hours.

All of these sets are rated at 1300 lumens, 135 Khz bandwidth, 9" EM liquid coupled tubes, on screen menus, digital convergence, a very extensive and comprehensive set up procedure (but easy to follow!). Each comes with an RGB input, and I have secondary RGB and video/S-video input modules available at a nominal cost.

These two sets have slight wear on the green tube, the red and blue are perfect. This is minor and very uniform 4:3 wear, associated with about 4000-4500 hours of 'on time' I see no need to retube these sets right now, but the price does reflect the condition of the green tube. c/w wireless remote and the manual. Note that all of the cases are a bit scratched and dented, but they take paint well, and since any Marquee case fits these 9500LC's, getting replacement case parts is easy. I have some in stock, but not enough to refit all of these 9500's.

I've gone through these sets fully and tested them and done the anamorphic squeeze modification. I can't say enough about the sharpness and resolution of these Marquee 9" sets, they truly are a cut above..

I've got one of the Marquee 9500 LC's here on eBay with no reserve. Since it already has a bid, I can't close the auction. I'll sell the other one for $5200.00. Email me if you want a picture of the green tube, I have it on file. Note that I also have two ACON's that will fit the Marquee series of projectors for $350.00 USD. First choice goes to the buyers of the 9500LC's..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3023580593&category=32862

1- Marquee 9500LC. This is identical to the above units, but all three tubes have been replaced with new in the box Electrohome/MEC tubes with the yokes and magnetics calibrated by Electrohome. As good as a CRT projector gets, these are still being made, and are marketed under various name brands for as much as $60K USD. The case on this is in excellent shape.

This one is selling for $9000.00.

AS IS PROJECTORS

The following sets all require some work, as indicated in the descriptions below. I'm happy to quote on doing the actual work, and I'll be selling a number of these sets in refurbished condition as I get to them.

1- Barco 701s. This is similar to the BArco 701 above, with about 3800 hours on the chassis, but this one came in on trade from a golf simulator, so there is text burn on all three tubes. This 'S' chassis uses higher light output 1000 lumen (rebuildable) Toshiba tubes instead of the standard Sony tubes. The other specs and case styling is identical to the 701 set. I will sell this as is, but I have full intentions of rebuilding this one with three rebuilt tubes as it throws an excellent picture.

$1000.00 as is
$1800.00 with new tubes

1- NEC 9 PG Plus. This set works fine, and comes with the video/S-video input and point convergence card options. I've test run it. 800 lumens from 7 1/2" tubes, EM focus, digital convergence, on screen menus, etc. 92 Khz scan rate, video, S-video and RGB inputs. This set need all three tubes to be replaced. all have wear on them, two of the tubes have slight text burn as well. Great for spare parts, or look on eBay for some better tubes to drop in. C/W wireless NEC remote. The case is in good shape except on one side where one of the side panels has two cracks. I have a replacement if someone wants one.

$850.00

5- Marquee 8110 Plus. These are very similar in performance and manufacturing date to the Marquee 8500, and many parts and modules (and tubes are interchangeable between these sets, as well as the Marquee 8000. The 8110 puts out 1200 lumens as compared to 1000 of the older 8000 model.

These sets work fine, but all tubes have text burn. I'll sell these complete for $1300.00 each, or I'll strip the sets down if you just want the modules as backup. A great way to upgrade an older 8000 model, or a great way to have 100% parts redundancy for an existing set.

$1400.00 each

4- Barco Graphics 808. These sets all use MEC tubes (rebuildable) and have some wear on the G and B tubes, the reds are perfect. 110 Khz scan rate, video, S-video and RGB inputs. Digital convergence, on screen menus. 75 Mhz video bandwidth. Modular construction. Power supply upgrades done to all of these. I plan on retubing these sets myself, but will offer these working chassis with worn B and G tubes at:

$1800.00 each

1- Marquee 9000. This is the 9" predecessor to the Marquee 9500LC. 9" tubes, 1200 lumens, 130 Khz scan rate. The set works fine, but all tubes need replacing/rebuilding due to wear. Digital convergence, on screen menus, video, S-video and TRIPLE (!) RGB inputs. The case is in good shape. I'll rebuild this one... one day.. :)

$2500.00 as is

2- Marquee 9500LC projectors. These are the remaining two chassis that I got in last week. Both work fine electronically. One has 4:3 wear on all tubes, and could actually be used as is, but should be retubed. The other needs a green tube due to text wear, the blue is not bad (light 4:3 wear) and the red has low emission, and will need to be replaced.

Dirt cheap at: $4200.00 USD each. Note that rebuilt tubes are only $895.00 USd each from VDC, so if you have the know-how to retube these yourself, it's a chance to get a great deal on a high end projector.

IN TRANSIT/UPCOMING

As usual, I have a number of sets in transit to me. These include:

1- Ampro 2000
1- Ampro 4000
1- Sony 1270
1- Electrohome ECP 4000
1- ECP 3500
1- Barco 1208
4- Barco G 808
1- Barco D 808
1- Barco G801s
6- NEC XG projectors. I've gotten a couple from this lot in, and they are all very low hour (1500-3000) XG 110's, 135's and 135 LC's, including a couple of the latest version XG 1352, the LC versions with component inputs dating from late 1998-1999. The two that I've gotten in are already sold, but if they are any indication of the condition of the other 6 remaining, these are minty sets indeed. I'll be making sure these sets are perfect, and have spare tubes on order 'just in case'.
1- Sony 1272
3 NEC PG Xtras- tubes are finally on the way to get these running, they've been in stock for quite some time.

PARTS:

I have a few hard to find parts in stock again:

1- NEC PG/XG remote control. These are hard to get, I managed to get a few that I can sell. New in the box, taken out to test them only before selling them:

$120.00

1- green NEC XG LC tube. This came out of a 2800 hour set, and has a bit of wide uniform 4:3 wear on it, hard to see by eye or with the camera. The picture on ebay is a good indication of the wear (or lack thereof). I managed to get a series of new XG LC tubes (sorry, they're all spoken for !) so I'm selling these low hour tubes for cheap. I may have one or two more in the near future, I'll let this eBay auction run its course.

Note that I will be out of town Tues/Weds of this week, and will not have access to my email. I will try and answer as many outstanding emails as I can tomorrow (Monday) before I leave. THe next list will be out in two weeks.

Thanks for your support!
