Here is the largest list of CRT projectors for sale that I have ever sent out. I have virtually every make and model of projector in stock (well, almost), so there's lots to choose from. Another 30 or so are coming in next week..

As always, all prices are in US dollars, I forgot to mention that on the last list. If you want off this list that I send out every two weeks, just shoot me an email and I'll take you off right away.

Note that I have a number of these projectors listed on eBay. I will leave the auctions open to the end as I have been prematurely closing a number of them, but since I have a lot of units for sale, you always have the option of buying directly on those units not on eBay.

Note that where applicable, wireless remotes and manuals are included.

Also a note, this list now goes out to over 3300 people. I am finding that with 100 emails a day on average, it's taking me a bit longer to answer questions, but I'll get to them as fast as I can. If you think I've missed your email (it happens) feel free to shoot me a reminder.

Onto the list!

1- Knoll HT-3. This is the same as a Zenith PRO 851 with an anti-dithering chip installed. Came out of a home theater so this one has not been exposed to a smoky environment. A video only projector with analog convergence and a wireless remote, these sets are super reliable and produce 750 lumens from 7" tubes. Convection cooled, no fans make for silent operation. A really nice pix, these sets got me started in home theater, and I've sold literally 100's over the years. 1995 vintage for this one.

$1000.00

1- Sony 1031. This is a nice compact video/RGB projector that produce a great picture. The set is in great shape, a couple of minor chips out of the cabinet along the bottom which you won't see when you ceiling mount. THe tubes are in near mint shape with no wear. Analog convergence that is straightforward to set up. 600 lumens, and 32 Khz scan rate allow you to hook a line doubler to the set. Note that I will only ship these in a foam lined road case that I will supply at no charge, but you have to send it back.. :) One is on eBay here:

$550.00

1- ECP 3100. This is a late model of 3100 made in 1993. The scan rate is 55 Khz, still good for HDTV, line doublers, triplers, etc. On screen menus, digital convergence, video, S-video and dual RGB inputs. 700 lumens from Sony 7" tubes. Newer software for a little more accurate convergence than older versions . THe B and R tubes have been replaced with the newer 07MS tubes, the green is original and in great shape. Here's the link to eBay:

$750.00

1- ECP 3500. Similar to the above 3100, this set dates from 1996 and has the higher light output tubes that produce 700 lumens.THe convergence software is a bit different to assist in a quicker and more accurate set-up, and the focus block was redesigned to eliminate burnout of the focus resistors that failed in earlier sets, other than that this set has the same specifications as the 3100 above. On EBay here:

$850.00

1- Sony 1252. This is a similar set to the Barco 800 below. 650 lumens, on screen menus, 7" Sony tubes, video, S-video and RGB inputs.Digital convergence with 9 point fine convergence. 61 Khz scan rate makes the set HDTV ready and great for use with line doublers and triplers, etc. This set has only 3650 hours on it, but due to a small phosphor area being used in the original installation, the set has some blue and minimal green wear. As you can see by the eBay ad, the set still looks good within the wear area, but due to my current limited space, I'll sell the set cheaply for those of you on a budget. Use as is and retube later, you should still get 5000 hours out of the set. Case is in good shape, and the door that covers the controls is still intact!

On eBay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15079&item=3005166024

$600.00

Barco Data/Graphics 800. I have a few more of these in stock, some in fair, some in great shape. All of these units have 8" Sony tubes, and produce 825 lumens. All digital convergence for an easy set up, on screen menus, video, S-video and RGB inputs. The Graphics scans to 92 Khz, the Data to 58 Khz. Realistically you'll never run these sets past 47 Khz or line tripling which is where these sets show the best picture, making either the Data or Graphics an excellent choice. 100% modular construction make after sales service simple and no tech is required. I have sold lots of these sets with excellent results over the last few years. All Barcos go through an extensive testing process, and I replace about 12 parts in every unit to ensure long term reliability.

1- BG 800- set in great shape. on ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32862&item=3004898601 $1200.00

1- Data 800. Excellent condition. $1100.00

1 Barco Graphics 801. THe newer version of the 800 series, this chassis has only 3686 hours on it. Tubes in great shape, 92 Khz scan rate, same specs as the G 800 above. On eBay here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15079&item=3005516381

$1500.00

3- Sony D 50. These are not ready quite yet, but as I know what's wrong with each of them, I figured I'd list them anyways. These are very late mode (1997) 7" EM focus set, similar in performance to the NEC PG Xtra sets. 800 lumens, 64 Khz scan rate make the unit good for up to line quadrupling. Video, S-video and RGB inputs along with COMPONENT inputs, either regular or progressive scan. There's not too many sets that offer this function. Comprehensive set-up including zoned focus, zone convergence, on screen menus. A very small projector, smaller than the NEC PG series. c/w Sony 12XX series remote that will fully control the D 50, if you want a new original Sony D 50 remote, please add $150.00 to the below prices.

Set # 1- only 2600 hours on the set, needs a new green tube due to text burn. Zero wear on the B and R tubes. $2800.00
Set # 2- needs B and G tubes replaced due to uniform wear, $3300.00
Set # 3- needs all new tubes due to wear. $3500.00

I'll be ordering the tube for set # 1 now and it should be ready for the next list.

1- Barco Graphics 808. An excellent condition relatively low hour projector with new G and B tubes due to text burn. Not a scratch on the case, this unit was stored in a road case all it's life. 110 Khz scan rate make the set compatible with virtually all video sources. Video, S-video and RGB inputs. 1200 lumens from 8" MEC tubes. Digital convergence, on screen menus, very easy to set up and a great picture. 100% modular like all Barcos for simple after sales service if ever required. This one has the optional green independent zone convergence for double stacking and the optional soft edge focus modification designed to me used if two of these are used side by side to form one large image.

$4000.00

Electrohome Marquee projectors. I have in and am getting a bunch more Electrohome Marquee series projectors, the 8000, 8110 and 8500. The 800 was the first version, then came the 8110 then the 8500. All have 8" MEC tubes, the 8000 has 1000 lumens, the newer ones have 1200. All scan to 135 Khz, and these sets have video, S-video and RGB inputs. On screen menus, digital convergence, quiet operation. Similar in picture to the Barco 808/1208 or other 8" EM focus set. Very reliable and modular construction.

1- 8000. This is an early version model that has original R and B tubes with zero wear, I'll have the replacement green tube on Wednesday. $3000.00
5- 8110+. The '+' version has improved focus and higher HV for a slightly brighter picture. All 5 need all tubes replaced due to test burn. $3800.00 each $1500.00 each as is for those of you wanting a working parts set.
3- 8500. All need tubes replaced as well. $4000.00 retubed, $1500.00 as is.

1- Electrohome Marquee 8501LC. I'll be right up front with this, this set has wear on all three tubes. I am listing this now as these sets are very desirable and very hard to find. The set scans to 135 Khz, making it good for up to 2000 X 2000 resolution. 8" MEC liquid coupled tubes with 1200 lumens light output. A phenomenal picture from this set, and the image is useable even now, but the brightness and color balance are not perfect. This unit has the optional video/S-video boards installed, comes with the ACON auto convergence unit and a second RGB input board with orbiting controls so that static images have less impact on tube wear. Digital convergence and on screen menus of course. Sold as is due to the tube condition for a tech to retube, or use as is for now, and retube later. I can also retube the set of course... I have checked all functions of the set and ensured long term reliability by running the set for 20 hours The power supply heater voltage is right now the money, a common problem with some of the 8500 series sets.

$3000.00 USD as is
$6000.00 retubed.

2- Barco 1609. These sets are very similar to the 1209, but these scan to 64 Khz. Still good for all formats of HDTV, these sets put out a whopping 1600 lumens from 9" EM focus tubes. Video, S-video and RGB inputs, the sets were made in 1997. ON screen menus, digital convergence, all of the features that many other Barcos have. Very quiet operation. All glass lenses for the best resolution. These sets both have wear on the green tube, one has the tiniest hint of wear on the blue, the reds are perfect. Offered here cheaply for those of you that want to use the sets as is and retube them later. These tubes are rebuildable.

$3500.00 each as is
$5000.00 with a new green tube
$6000.00 with a new G and B tube

2- Electrohome 9500 LC Ultras. I could start this description off with some bad ad copy and say: "For the discerning gentleman that has everything..." but I won't. .. :)

These are the two sets that I have been waiting for. Just in, these sets are the absolute top of the line CRT video projector and are still currently in production. 1300 lumens from 9" liquid coupled MEC tubes. 120 Mhz bandwidth. Digital convergence, on screen menus, not a scratch on the cases. In original Electrohome shipping boxes. C/W video, S-video and dual RGB inputs, one of which includes the orbiting feature. Made in January 1999, the sets have zero, absolutely no wear on them. I suspect that the tubes have been replaced, as the CRT hour counter reads about 7500. Scanning lines are still completely visible with line doubling, and I would strongly recommend that this projector is driven with an HTPC or a line quadrupler. Any other signal source will of course work, but will not do the set justice. One is on eBay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15079&item=3005186070

$12,000.00 USD each. I'll supply a new remote control. Buy two for double stacking and we can haggle a bit.. :)

OTHER STUFF:

6- Barco remote controls. These are the genuine Barco remote controls that came with the 801 series and up (these are the newer slimmer versions, not the clunkier remotes that came with the older BArco 800's). Backlit and all are in good shape. $125.00 each

Note that I also have been programming universal Radio Shack 6 in 1 remotes with the Barco codes and they work well at $50.00 each.

I've somehow got overstocked on 25' 5 BNC to 5 BNC cables. New in the package, these are excellent cables, low loss and excellent frequency response, custom made at a local cable supplier. I'll sell 10 of these off at cost at $100.00 USD each. Compare these prices to those on line...
