Here is the bi-monthly list of projectors for
sale. For those of you new to the list, welcome! If you want off my
mailer at any time, just shoot me an email back, and I'll take you off
right away.
As always, pricing is in US dollars. Projectors are generally listed in
ascending quality, starting from the entry level. I reserve the right to
pull any projectors off eBay to sell prior to auction close as long as
the reserve has not been met.
VIDEO PROJECTORS
1- Zenith PRO 851/Museatex. This is the popular video only Zenith based
chassis modified by Museatex. They added an S-video jack, put some wood
side strips on, and charged an extra $2K when new. This one came out a
home theatre, and the tubes and case are in excellent shape. 600 lumens,
video only, analog convergence, on screen menus. Wireless remote
included. Ceiling bracket $100.00 extra.
$1000.00
DATA GRADE PROJECTORS
2- NEC DP-1200. I have two of these projectors in great electronic
shape, but I do not have the required set up remotes. These scan to 32
Khz, have RGB and video inputs, and have 475 lumens. Digital convergence
with limited on screen menus. A great entry level projector. Cases a bit
scratched and scuffed. A great buy if you have a dead or weak one of
these or if you have access to the remotes. c/w operators manual.
$400.00 each
1- Electrohome ECP 3100. A step above the NEC, this projector uses 7"
Sony tubes. 650 lumens, 55 Khz scan rate, video and RGB inputs. Perfect
for HDTV, satellite, DVD or line doublers and triplers. Digital
convergence, on screen menus. Small footprint with low fan noise. Tubes
and case in good shape. Listed on eBay here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1335326635
$750.00
1- Sony 1251 A very popular Sony projector circa 1993-1994, this
projector uses 8" tubes, has 700 lumens, brightness and scans to 61.5
Khz. Video, S-video and RGB inputs. On screen menus, digital
convergence. Nice pictures out of these. About 4300 hours on the hour
meter. Note that I have 4 more similar Sony 12XX projectors, ranging
from 1270's to 1252''s. I currently have all five of these on hold until
Tuesday as I have one corporation interested in buying all five. If I do
not hear back from them by Tuesday night, they will all be available.
All will be about the same price:
$1200.00 each
1- Barco Data 800. Great condition. 825 lumens, 58 Khz scan rate, Video,
S-video and RGB inputs. Digital convergence, on screen menus. Tubes and
case in great condition. Very similar in performance to the Sony 12XX
series listed above. Lots of these sold with excellent results.
$1200.00
1- Barco Graphics 800. Same as the Data 800 above, with 92 Khz scan rate
$1300.00
1- GE 601. Same as the NEC 6 PG listed below, except in a charcoal case.
Same specs. Rebuilt green tube, the other tubes in good condition. c/w
wireless remote control. Currently listed on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1334101353
$2000.00
1- NEC 6 PG. An excellent condition 7 1/2" tube projector with EM focus.
60 Khz scan rate, 800 lumens, RGB inputs. Digital convergence. c/w
wireless remote control. I love the fleshtones out of these projectors!
Very reliable and quiet chassis. Case a bit scraped and scuffed; it will
need a paint job. All tubes replaced with VDC rebuilds with about 20
hours on them. A fabulous picture!
$2400.00
1- NEC 6 PG Plus. Same as the 6 PG above but this version includes a
Video and S-video input card as well as 64 Khz max scan rate. Otherwise
identical to the 6 PG. Tubes in great shape.
$2500.00
1- NEC 9 PG The next step above the 6 PG. Same tubes, same specs, but
the 9 Pg scans to 90 Khz. New R and G tubes, the tiniest of wear on the
blue. I can change the blue tube out for an extra $500.00
$2500.00
1- GE 901. Same as the 9 PG but with the point convergence board
included. RGB and video/S-video inputs. Charcoal case. This projector's
hour meter has been reset, so I cannot tell the exact tube hours, but
they are in great shape.
$2500.00
Note that the next two Barco G 808 sets are on hold until Tuesday as
well pending word on a bulk sale.
2- Barco G 808. Excellent condition sets. 110 Khz scan rate, 8" EM focus
MEC tubes, 1200 lumens, video, S-video and RGB inputs. Digital
convergence, on screen menus, lots of bells and whistles. Very quiet and
sleek looking cream colored case. One of my favorite high end
projectors. Original tubes in great shape.
# 1- 6225 chassis hours, about 2500 hours on the tubes $3500.00 USD
# 2- 12,600 hours on the chassis. No wear on the tubes. I suspect a
retube on this one, but I cannot decipher a date code from the serial
numbers on the tubes (if they have one)
$4500.00 USD
1- Barco 1208/2. 135 Khz scan rate, same 8" MEC tubes as the 808. 1200
lumens, digital convergence, on screen menus. Very similar in design to
the 808, just with a higher scan rate. Original tubes in good shape;
about 3500 hours on them. 9000 hours of chassis time. On eBay right now:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1335019481
$3000.00
2- Barco 1208. New B and G tubes. Good condition red. Same specs as the
1208/2 above. Cases in good shape.
$4500.00 each
Ampro 4200. One of these Ampros left (for now). 92 Khz scan rate, 1200
lumens, 9" tubes. 366 hours on the tubes, 534 on the chassis. EM focus.
c/w wired remote which I will buy back for $300.00 should you choose to
run this projector from a computer via the serial port. I have the
software to do this.
$2500.00 USD
1- Sony 1292. 700 hours on the chassis, but I cannot confirm that this
is the actual hour count. The chassis hour count seems low... 1200
lumens, 135 Khz scan rate, digital convergence, on screen menus. Video,
S-video and RGB inputs. An excellent picture out of this projector. Sold
for $25K USD new in 1996. I have only one more of these left.. The
projector is currently on eBay:

components in it. c/w wireless remote. $500.00
1- Zenith 42" RPTV. About 4 months old, I have not seen this yet, but am
