As promised (finally), here is a nice sized used projector list. I finally had a couple of days to repair a bunch of new units. Prices as always are in US dollars, exclusive of shipping. If you would like off this projector mailer, just email me back, and I'll take you off right away.

Video Grade Projectors.

Sony 1030-2 available. A nice small and compact video grade projector with 550 lumens of brightness analog convergence, video inputs, a good picture. One of these has very slight R,G, and B wear, but still very usable for about 4000-5000 hours. Project the image within the wear area, and the B/W balance is quite reasonable. The other has excellent condition tubes. A tiny bit of blue 4:3 wear if you really look for it, and none on the R and G. Both of these projectors have excellent condition cases on them, barely any scratches or marks.

$450.00- slight wear
$550.00- no wear

1- Zenith PRO 851. Just got this one in today. It came out of a local home theatre where it was sparingly used. The owner changed over to a Barco 1208. This is one of the late model Zeniths, made in 1996. Tubes are in excellent shape, the cabinet is flawless. Video input, analog convergence, 600 lumens, convection cooled for silent operation. This version of the projector is called a Knoll, but is simply a relabelled Zenith. C/W remote, ceiling bracket, and a custom Knoll black box that is used to trigger an electric screen to come down when the projector is turned on. The screen goes back up when the projector is shut off.

No hour meter on this projector, but I'll bet the tubes have no more than 2000 hours on them based on the lack of wear.

$900.00.

Data Grade Projectors

1- Electrohome ECP 3000- 7" Sony tubes, 600 lumens brightness, 55 Khz scan rate, digital convergence and on screen menus for an easy set-up. The tubes are in great shape on this projector, and regular video or S-video as well as line doubled and tripled pictures look great on this projector. Small in size, I have sold a lot of these with excellent results.

$700.00

1- Electrohome ECP 4000. Same as the ECP 3000 in style, case and features, except the ECP 4000 scans to 80 Khz, making it compatible with line quadruplers.

$750.00

1- Barco Data 600. This projector was sold on eBay 2 weeks ago, but the high bidder bounced the check.. :( So here it is again. 7" Sony tubes, 600 lumens, 64 Khz scan rate, analog convergence, good for HDTV, video, S-video and RGB use. Tubes in great shape, c/w an RCVDS 4 video switcher/controller and all required cables.

$650.00

Sony 1270 Just got this one in as well. 8" Sony tubes, 650 lumens, 75 Khz scan rate. Digital convergence, on screen menus. Video S-video and RGB inputs. An industry standard, there are thousands of these out there, and I have sold many with excellent results. The case on this one is in great shape, as are the tubes. Even the hinged panel covering the controls is there.

$1200.00

I also have an identical condition Sony 1270 in Toronto that is not suiting the customer's needs. Same condition, less the hinged door over the controls. Save yourself some money if you're in the Toronto area and pay no shipping for this one if you pick up.

Dennis' email address is dennis@cdpcom.com if you want to see this 1270 in the Toronto area.

1- Sony 1252. Very similar to the 1270 above, but the scan rate is 61.5 Khz maximum. On screen menus, only 2764 hours on this set. The tubes and cabinet are in great shape. 700 lumens, and a couple of years newer than the 1270, but the rest of the features are the same as listed above.

$1200.00

Note: I have two remotes available for the above Sony 12XX series. $150.00 with the purchase of a projector. I have about 4 ceiling mounts for the Sony 12XX series. $100.00 each

Barco 800 I have a few more of the Barco Data and Graphics 800's in. Moderate chassis hours, with the tubes in good shape. The Barco Data scans to 58 Khz, the Graphics to 92 Khz. Unless you're doing high resolution computer graphics., I don't think you'll see a difference of picture quality with a line doubler or tripler. Digital convergence, lots of on screen menus, 825 lumens, 8" Sony tubes, etc. I sell a lot of these with excellent results. Manual and AC cord included. Video, S-video and RGB inputs.

All of these projectors have had the tubes replaced at some point in time., Great red and green tubes, a tiny bit of wear on the blue, but this is indicative and the equivalent of about 3000-3500 hours of use on the tubes. The highest hour chassis has the best tubes in it...

1- Barco Data 800- 18210 hours $1200.00
1- BArco Graphics 800- 10600 hours $1300.00
1- Barco Graphics 800- 21833 hours $1300.00

2- Barco G 808. 10600 and 13600 hours on them, slight 4:3 wear on the blue and green. 110 Khz scan rate, 1200 lumens, digital convergence on screen menus, built in optional $2000.00 autoconvergence IRIS. A great picture on these, good for about 5000 hours of use still. Video, S-video and RGB inputs.

$2000.00 USd- final blow-out price.. :)

4- Sony 1292 1200 lumens 110 Khz scan rate, 9" projectors. The top of the line Sony circa 1996-1997. Video, S-video and RGB inputs. Digital convergence, multiple memories, etc, etc. These all came from the same large corporation, and I have 3 more coming in, all in about the same shape. If you want the best, this is the projector to get. All the tubes are in great shape. I have tested all of these, and they required nothing. A simply stunning picture at line quadrupling. One is on eBay right now if you want to see pictures of it.

The hour count is as follows on them:

2172
2811
3951
8880

The highest hour one has tubes in the same shape as the rest, so either the set was left in the standby mode for long periods of time, or it was retubed, so I am pricing it the same as the rest.

These normally sell for about $6K USD, I am selling them for $4000.00.

That is the list for today, I have many more projectors 'in the works. Including:

Barco 808, 1208, 1200, 1209
NEC 6 PG, 9 PG XG 110 and XG 135, GP-5000
Ampro 9" (unknown model at this time)
Sony 1270
Electrohome Marquee series (no 9" or LC, sorry!)

Assorted others that have not arrived yet.

Most of the NEC's are waiting for tubes. I have sent a bunch (about 12) to VDC this week for rebuilding, but I would assume I will not see them back until sometime in January

I have received back some MEC tubes for the Barco 808/1208 and Marquees, but I ran out of time today to install them. The rest of the evening will be dedicated to filling parts orders.

Hopefully this upcoming week, business at my day job will start to slow down and I will be able to send out another projector list mid-week.

As you can all well imagine, the airlines and trucking companies are very busy this time of year, so any projector purchases this week may not arrive in time for Christmas, but should arrive before Dec 31.

A note to my Canadian customers: I got set up this week as a DVDO line doubler dealer. The V 2 and Pro versions are stocked in Vancouver. Prices in Canadian dollars are:

V2 $800.00
PRO $1250.00

On these I have to charge applicable GST and PST as I sell these through my company. I am also stocking SVGA to BNC breakout cables customs built to your specific needs to mate the line doublers to the projectors.

I also have available the Key Digital line of products through this same distributor. Key Digital makes those Component to RGB adapters. I have not tried one yet, but will report back on how they work as soon as I get one in. These are about $500.00 CDN, $300.00 USD.

Cheers, and Happy Holidays!
