AUGUST 2012 UPDATE: The RF glasses have been redesigned and are much improved over the originals. The new glasses are stylish and form fitting and include a quick polarity swap feature built right into the glasses (a quick tap of the power button reverses polarity) instead of having to use the joystick on the emitter. The RF emitter has been upgraded to include presets built in for DLP projectors, LCD TVs, Plasma TVs, etc. This makes setup much easier and gives better results. These new glasses are 100% backwards compatible with the original Bit Cauldron BC5000 glasses and BC100 emitter we previously carried.

These RF Glasses are the exact same as the Optoma BG-ZF2100GLS as they come from the same manufacturer, the only difference is the logo on the side and the lower price. They are fully compatible with all Optoma 3D Projectors such as the Optoma HD33, HD3300, HD83, HD8300, GT750, and GT750e. Of course they also work with 3D-Displayer or 3D-Theater 3D Processors as well.

They are completely immune to interference and work on many manufacturer's 3DTVs as well as all our 3D converters.

Unlike most glasses, they have settings that can be tweaked to minimize ghosting that may occur on some combination of glasses & displays. Having the ability to tune the "delay" and "duty cycle" also allows you to optimize sharpness and brightness.

We highly recommend that these glasses be used regardless of the type of TV or converter you purchase due to these adjustment features.

One RF emitter is required and may be used to control multiple glasses.

The glasses are designed and manufactured by Bit Cauldron. The glasses and emitter are 100% compatible with the previous model BC5000 glasses and BC100 emitter that were sold under various brand names including MonsterVision MAX 3D Glasses. An IR sensor is not included in the kit (only RF).

Which 3D glasses are right for me?

• All glasses work with the 3D-Gamer, 3D-Displayer, 3D-Theatre, and 3D-TheatrePLUS.

  • DLP-Link Active Shutter glasses: For use with 100/120Hz DLP HDTVs/projectors only. They do not work with standard 50/60Hz HDTVs/projectors or non DLP displays. No emitter is required. The glasses link to the DLP projector without any sort of special emitter or 3rd party transmission device. Not adjustable/configurable.
     
  • Infrared (IR) Active Shutter glasses (discontinued): For use with all HDTVs/projectors (50/60Hz or 120Hz). One emitter is required and can control multiple IR glasses. Infrared is directional and may be affected by line-of-sight interference. Infrared can also be affected by IR remote controls, florescent lights and sunlight.
     
  • Radio Frequency (RF) Active Shutter glasses: For use with all HDTVs/projectors (50/60Hz or 120Hz). One RF emitter is required and can control multiple RF glasses. Completely immune to interference. These are universal glasses that work on any manufacturer's 3D TV as well as all our 3D converters. They are completely adjustable/configurable.
