When switching on the PS3 the picture shifts to the left and shakes at the top.

I have the Moome IFB-HD V1.32 w/gamma

a) Clamp setting is HP
V Shift WIDE
Video Lock Normal

b) PS3 1080P 24 fps is turned off

c) Moome card in Input B

Any thoughts?

Reading the above link has solved my jitter.

Can someone point me to a thread or mention how to shift my picture to the right? Are there switches on the Moome card?

Thanks in Advance...

Also you can easily move the image using the remote.

I think it's most likely the Moome card.

You really should consider upgrading that card anyway. Back then Moome hadn't worked things out so well and the card has lots of distortion and terrible attenuation. The new and previous generation cards with dual HDMI are MUCH better and provide full 1080p 72Hz with almost zero attenuation.

Phoenixed, don't you lose the input when you turn it on and match the frequency of the PS3? What is your recommendation (quick tip) to shift the picture?

Craig, I think that your recommendation is correct. I need to see if Moome has cards to ship?

No I think you're thinking of ASR used by Marquees. Pic Orbiting is just the G90 moving the image ever so slightly during its operation. 20 pixels I believe. I use it for gaming because I run my contrast a little higher (77) and do a lot of gaming. It helps save tubes from images getting burned into them (ie scorecards, blah blah).

My "quicktip" would be to enter service mode and use the remote commander and use the image shift function. My TIP would be to do as Craig said AND I'll go one better and say to get a Video Processor and just send the G90 a straight resolution of let's say 1080p60. THEN hire a calibrator and be done.

Thanks... Did you upgrade you V2 to Moome IFB-v3 card?

I am not going to put monies into a vid processor. I will most likely invest in a new Moome card and call it a day.

Edit... And "Order" a new Dallas chip from Curt..
