Or do I need nvidia 3d vision kit?

arcsoft seems to give you the opportunity to switch on 3d, nvidia however is supported with hardware acceleration of the nvidia chipset.
a friend of mine ordered the rf glasses here with just the emitters but hasn`t received them yet (expect them 1 of these days).
i am really currious how this will work out.
i have made 2 extra profiles under powerstrip for him just for 3d, 1280*720*120hz (over 100khz horizontal scanrate) and over 170mhz bandwidth because of huge backporch settings vertical.
and 1920*1080i*96hz.
we downloaded some 3d blu rays from realmom.info one of which is avatar (german site )
he still has a gt9600 from nvidia i think but he ordered a gtx650, ehhhh 560 of course, today.

that is the link for the glasses, if you buy via this link you`re bonus is that you support this site.

I was going to ask the exact same question, not much available on 3d Blu ray yet though, I wanted to get the amd 3d version no Nvidia as it worked out pretty cheap.

without a videoprocessor you are "in de aap gelogeerd" or you have to make some edid files yourself (that is if you know your way around that area).
people on avs could tell you more, there is one person who makes edid files on request!!
get the 560, the nvidia software gives you the opportunity to set porches just like powerstrip be it not in real time.

Hello,
at first there are analog VGA dongles with a switch. Activation of the switch lead to an interlaced signal (brightness loss), but the glasses attached to the dongle are in perfect sync! That should work for IZ3D/DDD Tridef drivers plus ATI, but not for ATI HD3D, as it is only digital DVI or superframe Hdmi 1.4 anymore (I guess).
For example, this analog dongle. But they are available all over the world with different names:
http://www.razor3d.de/3d_pc.asp
For digital: If you do HD3d with a HDMi 1.4 superframe, you just need the EXT-FULLHD V3 3D. It will translate the super frame for your CRT, and you can attach any glasses at the standard 3d port. For wireless emitters and glasses look here:
http://www.3dmagic.com/
But I am also planning an other route:
https://www.curtpalme.com/forum_archived/viewtopic.php@t=27590.html
So I am looking for a device that can extract the sync of a classic 100/120hz signal (digital), and drive glasses or emitters.
And there is one, and I have just asked for the price. See attachment....
or http://www.3dmagic.com/
-DVI/HDMI SYNC Splitter MODEL DSS
Best regards
Ps.: Powerstrip should not be a porblem with ATI

Hi noos@xp37+, great information but one thing, POwerstrip will not work with the newer cards of the 5000 6000 series from AMD ATI, they told me they do not support nor have any intention of supporting these cards.

it won`t.
get a gtx560.
that dvi/hdmi splitter, is it limited to 165mhz?
if so it is a no go for many cause 720p at 120hz and massive vertical backporch (to eliminate ghosting) is above the 165mhz limit of single link dvi.

Hello,
I have received the answer from the fury people. No idea if their products may be mentioned here:
Yes "xxfurx" have an option to output sync signal for any content. We just syncronize to the vertical sync signal and create the 3dsync out of it.
regards
noos
