Hello Guys
Are there any chance to proof if my eye one need an recalibration from the manufacture yet ?
or should i had to contact an xrite partner?
my sensor is beween 2-3 years old .

okay i have the eye 1 display 2 .... so is the effort it worth to recalibrate? and how i know i have to?

Ihad an isf dealer whcih isn't far away from my city
Had had give me an offer to recalibrate my sensor for about 183 $
is this a good deal ? or should i think about it to buy an new one?

Hm... i have talked with an dealer in my home country and he claim you can reset the black level by the eye one devices.
They does it with the software color facts... is this possible with any other software?
and whats boots it?

edit: Or is it the normal procedure as i calbrate the internal sensor ( for example with color hcfr) with a black surface?
Iam little bit confused :

the only way to have it work for awhile is to "profile" it to a known Good Probe. So if your dealer has a new probe you can borrow you can take measurements with the new Probe for target IRE's and then measure the Same IRE's with your probe. then you tell HCFR to make the readings of your probe read like the readings of the New Good Probe. this way the Program is set to adjust the wrong readings of the old probe to measure the values of the Known Good Probe. it will not be exact but it will be fairly close. and over time this process will just get worse and less accurate.

hm... how i do this in color hcfr? .... and borrow sth. , i think it doesn't go cause they don't have so much colorimeters for free use
but i ask them
