This isn't a sad thing, I mean, the dude was 93! but I enjoyed his movies alot growing up. To me, he's one of the last of the first Bad Boys of Hollywood. I guess there's possibly a couple more left like Kirk Douglas but all the guys like him are all gone; Victor Mature, Henry Fonda, John Wayne (so loveable it was hard to think of him in the same clique but he was), Yule Brenner, etc.
Man I feel old when these old guys pass. Shocked

old-timers disease. and i'm not that far behind you man, past the half way mark in the forties... good thing we're still good looking. well, at least i am.

i watched Widmark on the TV version of madigan (AS A KID!) it was great.
