MRI Report

A left shoulder MRI was performed on 3/19/2008

Findings: "There is a large full thickness tear of the anterior portion of the supraspinatus tendon. There is partial retraction with a gap of approximately 17mm in the left to right dimention and approximatly 14mm in the AP dimention."
There is also a partial or full bicepts tendon tear and I have bone spurs.

I am going in for surgery on 4/15/08. After which I have three months off. Anyone wish to help me twist beer caps off Wink

Good luck man!...It seems like I remember several years ago you going under the knife by your own hand, didn't you cut yourself real bad a while back?

Mike

Yep, had all my fingers on my right hand reattached. Can't tell you how much fun that was. Don't ask. I'm trying to forget about that one.

So I'm glad I talked you out of helping me take the top off of that big goon Retro!

Damn dude. I'm always available for manual labor (although I refuse to twist off beer bottle caps... Friends don't let friends drink anything with a twist-off cap OR a plastic cork!)

I don't think I knew about that.

Injuring one's hands is a lot more serious than it sounds. Having whacked up the ends of three of my fingers in a table saw 25 years ago, I have first hand (pardon the pun) experience. While my fingers are all still there and normal in appearance unless you really look at them, they don't function like they use to. And my injury was only to the end joints.

So Chip deserves a little courtesy about his hand accident.

Hope the shoulder surgery goes well Chip!

Lay in a kegger before the operation Chip. Thumbs Up With the pain meds they're going to give you, I don't think drinking is such a good ideee....I tried that after my last back surgery and took a header going down to the basement. The good news...I landed on my head. The better news....I didn't feel a f*cking thing. Mr. Green

Good luck and don't forget to cop a free nursey feel. (It's included in the bill.)

Greg
