This projector has a blown bulb. Options: I cannot buy a new one, parts machine? Anyone got a used bulb I could try for min.$ Use as paperweight?

It is a 1024x768 projector with 500:1 contrast ratio--is it really worth even spend $10 on since you can buy a functioning better digital projector for about $200?!?!?!?
If you really want a bulb, figure out what the bare bulb part number is (very few lamp assemblies are proprietary bulbs). See if the lamp assembly is such that you can just change the bulb. If so, grab a bulb and go! Bare bulbs are generally $160-250.
