There seems to be a lot of discussion regarding C-element change.
Right now, with a broken 1272, I thinking about getting a spare (or main) unit to lessen downtime (i.e. being down on the floor playing with my kids instead of watching a movie).
I read about LC units. A lot of the discussions seems to be regarding color correction. However, except for the screen shots before and after c-element change with color bars (Curts pages), I havn't found actual movie shots with tinted flesh tones. Anyone having screen shots? Is this color issue big regardless of tubes (e.g. fast fosfor tubes with less light output)?
