Intro story sounds horribly familiar, doesn't it? 0 feedback seller registered three days ago.

Pics look familiar. Maybe mruptopia's. The spiel in the description looks strangely familiar too. Definitely cash payment at time of pickup.

At least the text (I don't remember picture) is stolen from some ..bay auction from number of years ago... I remember it distinctively, and it's unique enough that it can't be coincidence..
I intended to contact any potential bidder with the warning. I done this lately for one of those G90 ads, which was removed by right after it was posted. I did get "thank you" response, by the way Smile .

You guys. come on you dont remeber?, this was a sales pitch I am pretty sure from Greg Eisemann . He used to use this to sell modified Barco 1209's and also got a few 909's in and was trying to sell the 909's for about 16 g's each. the 1209's sold. I think he unloaded about 4 if IIRC. They even use his company as a link for info...ts,ts,ts i expected more from you guys over here Wink . maybe we should post this over on AVS for Greg to see.

Probably deleted. Those were the first four usernames that scammer has used. He's on the fifth, now.

Maybe there's actually five of them. They all meet at a bar in... in Rancho Cucamonga?! What that hell?... anyway, they meet in a bar and swap stories.

3: "So, five, how's it going?"

5: "Great, three! I sold 12 909s this month!"

2: "You dog, you! You must be raking it in! I've only sold a G70 and two sets of mint Marquee 8500 tubes!"

4: "Next round's on 5!"

(all): "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!"

Next round's on 5 - that's funny.

It is interesting that a scammer would make his username a play on the phrase "Who's your daddy, now?" It's as if he's daring somebody to get their ass kicked (financially speaking). Regardless of feedback rating, I think I'd have a hard time buying anything at any price from someone who calls himself "who's your daddy". With no feedback, it's definitely a non-starter.

I should try selling under the user ID "scammer" and see what happens.

The 909's been pulled from eBay; thank goodness!
