Do any projectors allow automatic memory switching by input?

Hey guys,

Just a quick favor - I need to know if any PJ supports automatic switching of recall/setup memories by selected input. For example, say I have a PJ with two RGBHV input cards in the PJ itself (no switcher). If I switch from input 1 to input 2, is there a PJ out there that will also automatically switch recall/setup memory when I switch inputs? Hell, my marquee may do it but I don't have two input cards, so I don't know. For those who are wondering, my brother is a patent examiner, so he's looking for some data on the subject.

Thanks!!
Ben

They might, but I only have one input card for each, so I can't test. They're in storage also.

So do the Sony's- provided the input frequencies are different enough.

Right, I do remember that the Sonys have something like 7 or 9 memories based on freq. range that they will switch between. What he needed for this patent though was something like the Marquee's ASR that can switch memories when the input is switched, regardless of frequency.

I'm embarrassed to say that I just read up on the ASR in the manual (thanks Chris, ASR is exactly what he needs for this patent case) and don't even have it enabled on my Marquee because I had it confused with ASI. I've been switching with the remote between different recall memories for the past 6 months Embarassed

Don't feel bad man....I didn't know it would do it either. I just read somewhere a long time ago to leave ASR off so I did. Sumbitch! How bout that. Laughing I've been doing it manually for over a year. Laughing Laughing
