|
|
in recent days,my barco 801S got some problem, always auto shut down when running up to 20min,it could be turned on again ,but soon shut down again, happen couples times a night ,i can not finish a movie.
i can make sure the tube,HV quadrupler and EHT board is OK,and input board,video/rgb board, quad decode board and power borad, foucs board all fine, when it running, the picture is good ,the problem must be one of h shif board,h output board and V board, but i don't know which board problem of that three could cause machine shut down, so i can find other one to replace it.
please help,thans.

Well of course it doesn't work. It has tube envy when you have a G90 in the same room. It's suffering from ED, electron dysfuntion.
If you've swapped the HV stuff, then you're right, it's probably on one of the boards you haven't changed yet. All you can do is swap them out, or send them to me for testing in a working set.

thanks, curt, you really got sense of humor, actuelly i can offer pic of G90U in my projector room, maybe it's tube envy cause the problem.
i have unplugged the EHT board and HV quadrupler for test, when turn on the machine,801s still shut down in couple mins,so i think it has nothing to do with EHT board and HV quadrupler .
and i remove the cover of projector when it is running, and i can see the red liting on the V borad just before shut down.so i think the problem must within the 3 h and v board.
i have friend with these boards, next week i will have to exchage for testing.
thanks again.
