I picked up this Vidikron that won't power up. It is a VPH40S in a small Pininfarina case. I am not sure if it is an ECP or not, as it doesn't look like the ECPs that I have seen. Anyway, I plugged it in and LED power light comes on but that is it. I have my laptop plugged into the S-video input. I am getting nothing, which leads me to believe it is the power supply. The previous owner said it just wouldn't power up one day. If I can't get it to turn on in the next day or so, then I will part it. I only got it because it seemed a shame to throw away a CRT pj.Very Happy Any ideas on what else might be wrong? Also, it has 180DCB22 tubes. I haven't seen these before. Does anyone have any info on them?

I wonder if the CRTs are similar to the 180CHB22's used in Zenith projectors.

Nope, this is the plain video only chassis. Similar to the TGS series, but newer. Shoot me a pix of a rear view of the set with the cover off, or post here to confirm.
