Howdy partners!
Some time ago, I purchased from curt all the components needed to upgrade my Marquee 8000 to an 8500. Curt had my rear heatsink and clm and ran it in a test machine he had. All worked out fine. When it returned to the sunny shores of OZ, and was installed in my machine, the setup menu shows the Stig Waveform Board as "Not installed"
Have tried reseating everything etc etc.
It's been a while now and I have done nothing about it.
Before I send it back to Curt to test can someone please do the following for me...

1. TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG or
2. Remove the ribbon cable from the Convergence board (basically disconnecting the stig amp from the waveform board)and start up your Quee.
3. Then see if the SWB shows as installed or not. If yes - then I only need to send Curt my CLM. If no, then I need to send him my heatsink too. I want to know if the CLM will recognise the SWB without the amp attached.

Many Thanks

Ben

Yes check to see if there are two bopards connected to your CLM one is the Deflection Processor board the other is the stigwaveform board, the latter is the one you need.

Hi guys,
SWB is installed. I have unseated and reseated after cleaning the contacts.
Board number on SWB is 50-2010-02P
CLM - hmmm its been a while since I played with it, so I do not know which IC's to give you the versions for.

U16 is 1.5
U44 is 1.0
U45 is 1.3
U35 is 2.0

Curt had this board working as is in a test machine with my heatsink. It was working in canada, but won't go in AU.

Perhaps the SWB is racist against us Australians......

Hi Athanasios,
I wondered that, but Curt had it running already.
Strange.

Hello

The first 9000s had zone stig enabled at v2.0 so I think you have a control board issue.
