I know you found your fabric for you HT walls on ebay. How the hell did you search for it? I get between 30 - 1000 pages no matter what categories I look at. There has to be a better way. Crying or Very sad

There's no easy way to search for it, but the search terms I used were "upholstery fabric" and "drapery fabric".

Calculate how many yards you need... include plenty of extra for spares, scraps, and mistakes. I wish there was some search filter that would show only "x or more" yards.

Also visit your local fabric shop. It's a lot easier to pick your fabric when you can see the colors, weight, and stretch in person. They have a specific section for wall fabric... called designer fabric, upholstery fabric, or decorator fabric. Several of the chains run 50% sales or have coupons.

I had the same problem and my local JoAnn's fabric did not have the best selection.

Clarence, I love your choice do you have any record of the ebay seller you bought from?

No, unless it's in my HT Construction thread somewhere.

FWIW, I'm also still very happy with my fabric choice. It is holding up VERY well... still nice, clean, and tight as a drum with the 1" linacoustic behind it.
