So i bought a service manual for a Yamaha receiver direct from Yamaha.
I have to admit that I'm not impressed with their customer service.

I called to buy the manual on the 15th and it showed it up today.
I got a CDR with a single PDF file and was packed in a big box.
This took 10 days to arrive.
I paid $20. for this plus shipping.

On the other hand, I bought a Denon manual.
It was an amazing colour printed manual that arrived at my door the next day.
this superior product and service cost me $12.

both will do the job. I just thought it was worth mentioning.

Want some more fun. Try buying a manual for anything Sony. They sell you a bad quality photocopy. Even with user's manuals

That would be one of the reasons why i will not buy a sony product anymore.
I used to be a total Sony man. several sony products over the years have convinced me to discontinue to trust the brand.
That is all I will say on this matter.
I remain a fan of Yamaha and Denon and of course My beloved Electrohome. Smile
