Hello, im 21, physics student, and as you will mentioned in my english expressions, im from germany.
I got a realy chep Sony 722 on Ebay as a "mabe defect" piece (paid 60€). After a short test the projector works well (there were some problems with the blanking timmings i fixed already). The Tubes are white (the blue tube is a new one anno 1999) and it has got HD6 optics, so for me as an "learning" projekt its worth enouth to invest more time.
Now my Problem:
Sometimes (more often when the tubes must work out a fast black -> white change) the picture colapses (colapse mabe is a wrong word for it, its getting darker and bigger with a green touch).
I already got the service Manual and give oskar (thats the german nick for Ozsilluscope) something to eat.
Things which i know already:
The drive voltage of the HV part colapses
The DC voltages are stable
Any Electrolyth capacitator on the HV Voltage PCB is changed already
->but as i figure out this sony is an complex self swinging thing:
I don't know "where" to figure out falures. And hope that i can get some tips and help in this forum.
