Im trying to get my tubes as focused as possible and I seem to be having a problem with the red one. If I focus the bottom right corner of the picture the top left becomes out of focus and vise versa. I dont think its the raster because i looked inside and it seems to be in focus. Do you guys think those hd144 lenses would fix the problem or is this the way nec pgs were designed?

Have you tried adjusting the electronic corner focus? It can help a little. However I have a 6PG and have experience the same problem. I just to try to find a happy medium and live with it.

Hit the test button and put up a grid pattern. Now if you can focus one side or the other (corners in your case), but not both at the same time, you need to check to see if your PJ is perfect to the screen. Get into Curt's site here, it tells you how, as soon as you have gone over your PJ to screen set up a dozen times, you then need to check your lenses next. Do the the screen first, the closer to perfect the easier everything else is.

Oh yea, check what size lense spacers you have. Maybe you have the wrong size for your screen size.

Im doing the same thign as you trying to find a good medium between the 2 corners. My projector is not perfectly centered to the screen. Its off to the right although I dont think this is a problem because I had it set up pretty much center and it was the same. I guess I will check the spacers next just incase. Hopefully its not a hard procedure.

The straight 6-9000 can focus up just fine depending on your set up. Harder then the Plus and Extra only because they lack the extra controls but can still be focused evenly if the install is correct. I have seen fixed screens mounted to walls that were out and had to space them out to be flat to be more exact.

Who was looking for the 60" PG spacers? Doug

Oh..they don't design the red to be out of focus.
