Guys

Got an 8500 with 144 lenses and Moome's Hdmi card runnning from a Blu ray.

Price aside, would changing out an 02 for an 03 vim yield any visable change in pic quality?
Mostly running 1080p @60 from Blu ray.

While I'm at it, would 2,4,6 pole rings make a noticable increase in focus?

I think the magnets will do more for shapness than the vim change but the vim change will do more for overall pic quality. do the magnets first since
it the cheapest, then go with the vim or change the CLC449 chips out with some EL5166's i have been trying on an older 2006-03 vim and they look very good
so on an 02 vim it might be a better upgrade.

Also can you tell me what your G2 and drive settings you have running, i cant get my whites to be white they have agreen tint ever since i put on the hd/144's

G2 settings will vary from 50 to 70 depending on the tubes' condition, so settings used by others are meaningless on your projector.

I don't think my colors are spot on but very close. I just have to get "get grey" and I will be able to do a color calibration.

As they are now

Drive / G2

R - 4 / 67
G- 18 /62
B - 44 /68

Bare in mind I have 1.8 gain screen that is color corrected for crt.
R&B are new
G rebuild

With HD8 settings were much closer to Tims recommendations for a starting point.
