Hi,
I have a sony 1292 connected to a sony Blu ray player through HD fury and it really looks great! The problem I have is when I watch dvd pal material the size of the picture is smaller. I just cant get it to fill the raster area.
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

It's a common problem, PAL timings are screwed up for our purposes.

You may need a scaler/video processor...
