Hi,

i look in my PJ-Diagnosic Log, and i see a IBCL Failure.
What is this?

Hi
The ibcl is the beam current limiter.
It's like a checkpoint that gathers the beam current info on a certain board.
Maybe you have a bad tube, bad final output amp or bad decoder?
There's not that much info on 909 units available.
Are there any other strange errors that appear or does your barco functions normally?

Then i wouldn't mind.
There's possibly a better and easier explanation for this ibcl thingy.
If all functions ok, then just enjoy.

Hi,

The error is reproducible. A testpattern with "snow" creates the ibcl errors.

Lowering contrast few step might help, since it lower Vpp going to crt's that ibcl is sensing.

Hi,

quickly tested. Contrast 0, the same error message.
Its not a problem, then i have no Snow Film. Very Happy
