I am not that familiar with how the memory blocks work on the Barcos. I have been using my Barco Retro 801s with line doubled SD and HD at 720p. When I send it a 1080i signal it just says I have entered the block delete mode. When I get out of that, it has just a black screen. It will show nothing until I change the source resolution back to 720p and it will show a pic again.
1080i is less bandwidth than 720p so why will it not show it?
How can I set it up for 1080i?
I have tried the adjust button with a 1080i signal and get no response.

The signal source is a HD-DVD player outputting component through kim's transcoder. 720p works fine 1080i just gives me a black pic. I get full pic on the AmPro 4600 with same source.

This has happened to me too. It was because i had no free memoryblocks. I deleted all blocks and restarted inputing all the resolutions i was using, that solved it.
