Hey there,
I purchased the IFB-HD moome card a few months back and have been using it flawlessly ever since.
Just recentely, i was mucking around at the back on the av cabinet when something sparked and when poof. I've checked all the equipment and from what i can tell, either my DVDO VP20 or the moome card has gone bad.
Now, the moome card is obivously in the PJ...about 4 meters away and on a different power point. It is connected to the VP20 via 10M of HDMI cable. The card turns on and all, and works well with something connected to Component. Gamma seems to work fine too.
The HDMI input however, i can't test because i have no other HDMI output sources (apart from a X360 but i can't seem to get that to work either on HDMI out..only component).
The Green light on the moome card does not light up when i connect a HDMI cable and turn the device on...meaning...no handshake/link?
So my question is, would the moome card still work if the HDMI part somehow got damaged? Is the card connected/constructed in a way which would allow one but not the other to work?
If thats not the case and the moome card is fine, then the VP20 is at fault...
Any info would be helpful.
Thanks
