Hi,

I'm happy to report that the firmware 2.8 now allows the HDfury to work correctly with the wonderful Thoshiba HD-XA2 at 1080p (50hz and 60hz). It needs the power supply. Without, it only ouputs 1080i. it was already very good at 1080i, but it's now much clearer and sharper…

But there's still a problem with 1080/24p…

The 108024p is (unfortulately) not a forced option with the XA2, and though my plasma is compatible with 24p, there seems to be an Edit problem. Indeed, the XA2 doesn't reconize this compatibility and swichtes automaticaly to 1080/60p… It's not possible to "force" the 1080/24p…

Is there a (simple) way, to fool the XA2 by reprogramming the Edit of the HDFury, to make the XA2 accept to ouput 1080/24p from the HDfury?

TX

Simon
