Do you mean won it as in a prize of some kind, where it didn't cost you anything? Or won in the way some people refer to buying at auction? Anyway, what condition is it in?

Well I got it and have had a good look over it. Says 4900 hrs in total, 2800 per tube. However, the Red looks like its an 8-9 and the green and blue a 6. Green and blue also look like there is some writing burn on the face and that the projector has not had the raster over the full face. Focus, alignment etc all work fine and I ran it for 4 hrs to see if anything wanted to wander with time and it all seems stable. Guess I should check my original XG75A and see what the tubes are like on that one. (Never taken a projector apart before so Saturday was a little scary). Came with the full service remote and ceiling support. For £100 I think its a bargain for the red tube alone. Wish I knew how many in total were sold so that we could guess how many bargains are just sitting there in someone's warehouse.

Is it XG750, XG751 or XG752?
Daniel.

Hi, I have just checked. My existing NEC is a XG75. The new projector is a XG750G. Does anyone know what the difference is?

G means 220v.
Is your existing XG a 750G or a 751G?
You said an XG75A, which means a 751, which means none of the boards will work as spares, nor will the power supply. Tubes will work fine however. For spares it's not much good though, sorry.

Hi, the projector says XG75 and someone has stuck a small label on the side of the machine saying XG75A, is there a difference between the two? Is the XG750G a later model than the XG75? Why did they change so much inside, did they just try to catch me out? As the XG750G is in better condition than the XG75 maybe I will keep the 750G and sell on the other as it sounds like its not suitable for spares.

XG75 is not enough info.
On the back it will say, in smallish letters:
MODEL XG-750G
or
MODEL XG-751G
751 is also labelled XG-75A in bigger letters.
And it will say 750/751 on the serial number sticker too- all these numbers are on the big label on the back.
751 is newer and better. I'd stick the best tubes in the 751 chassis, if you're up for it.
Post a pic of the rear if there's still some confusion.

I was just asking, as I could need some parts from a 751. So, in case you have some and want to get rid of them...let me know
Daniel.

Good news. I have checked again and the sticker that has the serial number says XG750G on the old and on the new projector. So that's two XG750G's that I have.
