Just thought you all might want to know - I don't have this movie yet, but I'll pick it up because I like it, it looks fantastic, and at this price there's no reason not to.
Also (to hijack my own thread...), I don't really understand why some people are firesaleing their HD-DVD titles/hardware/etc...in fact, I'm going to keep right on buying HD-DVD's as they go on sale, because even if these titles are released on BR, they'll be more expensive anyways! (at least in the short term)
The only logical reason I can think of is that they want one, and only one, Hidef disc player. Doesn't make much sense to me, though, most HTs have multiple sources to start with (disc player, cable/sat, game consoles, etc.), and if you have a switcher it's not a big deal...
Anyways, more for me

I don't understand the pricing on any of this stuff. It is all over the map. And I have spent a flipping fortune on BD and HD movies so far, because I am too damn stupid to order stuff online ahead of time, and keep running out to buy them locally when I realize I am going to want to watch a couple of movies and don't have any NetFlix on the way.
I was in Circuit City tonight, and their prices are a good deal higher than Best Buy on most titles. Thing is, they are two doors down from the Best Buy, so I have no idea what they are thinking. I hate Best Buy, of course, so I have been all over town trying to avoid them, but the selection is horrible pretty much everywhere else.
To rub salt in the wound, I come to find out that I missed at least two BOGO sales at Amazon. Cripes.

FWIW I don't think that's a sale price -- it seems to be their normal price. There are a number of other disks at that price too.

Perfect example of "all over the map". Circuit City had Corpse Bride for 24.99, which seemed to be their "cheap" price. Most titles there were $29.99, with many $34.99. When I was at Best Buy last it seemed that the standard price for most titles was 24.99, although I didn't see anything cheaper than that.

Right you are, sir...I thought it was a sale, but it's the regular price.
PC Disclaimer: It's 14.99 on Bluballs too
