How about a table of the different computer/HD resolutions+refresh rates and their bandwidth? That would be REALLY helpful.
A general area in the specifications/ranking page with the electronics vs. tube resolving capabilities would be great also.

Hmm.. maybe I could  .. But I would just be borrowing information of the internet of course.. Bandwidth math is not one of my strong points lol.
I think community knowledge is probably the best way to put this all together:D

im really new to crt, so is this somethign we can adjust on the projector? i see where it shows it but it wont let me adjust it. again keep in mind im really new to these, dont kill me just yet

Don't worry we only off people who are over 95, acompanied by both parents ,and gran parents.
It's not something you can adjust in the projector. All the projector is telling you is what the signal is that's comming into it. You have to adjust it at the source by changing resolutions.

ok thats what i was thinking. also looking into using my pc as a htpc. i have it and dont use it due to using my laptop as primary. so i will be putting in a nice video card, thats can run hd dvds in the near future, and getting that up and running. would be looking to run those on it. what do you think of that

No offence, but can you please use the odd CAPITAL letter? Your post's are hard to decipher.
A HTPC is a great idea if you love frustration, are atheletice in gymnastics, for jumping through hoops and don't mind loosing your hair or sometimes your mind.
Yep HTPC's are a lot of fun. I've had 6 of them in the last 11 years.

The PG Plus likes 1080I and 720P. The source puts the signal out if you select it with (HDSTB) and DVD.
You tell the PC what to put out.
After that you need to register the signal in the projector if it says 'Unregistered Signal' (do a signal entry) for the things the HTPC puts out like boot modes, refresh rates, sync properties, polarity, gamma, porch settings, Power Strip, TheaterTech, Power DVD, overlay-underlay? and other display software driver update fun stuff then show the wife how.
Being new at this you can ask the HTPC guys for help setting it all up. Im not a big fan of HTPC's for a reason but these guys will help you with all the easy stuff.

Getting the bill for set up labor w/flight.......then having it boot to 'Unregistered Signal' in the morning...

Yes I hear ya. NEC did things a little oddly.
I went to look at a 6PG a few nights ago and I coulnd't get it to see a 640 x 480 signal. The guy demonstrated S-video working but I still passed. I tried registering a signal too.
