I agree - in spades. But how would he fit a large enough screen that would satisfy us and still include his speakers?

I love the system, gross overkill as it is. I want to do something similar but not quite as extreme, and I'm currently working towards that goal. I'll have to give those EV EVX-18B woofers a look. Don't think I could fit four boxes of two 18"'ers each and me in my room though.

According to his wife, he's over-compensating for an inherent genetic and physical weakness in another area. Mr. Green I hear he is now going to be buy a big 4x4 and some guns to help offset the missing extent of his bass.

low notes cause the CD player to skip... WOW how proud is his Mom? I hope he has A.C. because if he opened the windows on a hot summer night his neighbors would shoot his ass dead.

Moose: the EV are EVX 180B, and @1000w program I think 1 would be enough

I tried to add some extra woofers over and above the 2-18" folded horn Cerwin Vegas I had. With the bass I had I could already clearly distinguish all the bass notes in recordings and it also kicked ass for explosions and such, the woofers I tried adding just made it more complicated to get it correct again. I put a little time into trying to work them into the system, but as I did not really need them, I took them out.

It's pretty hard to set up a good sounding room and once you get there it's easy to go backwards by changing things.
