I've noticed that my 8500 does this sort of horizontal wiggly thing. It seems to do it more when I have just turned it on, and more in high contrast areas. Around the text on my desktop, when displaying an internal grid pattern, etc. I am seeing this at 720p/60.
Seems to calm down after it has been running for a while, although I haven't had a chance yet to test that thoroughly.
Does anyone recognize what I am describing? I'll be re-doing my setup, starting with physical positioning, over the upcoming holiday. I'm wondering if that will sort this, or if there is something else I need to be looking at.
Thank you.

It does have original fans, afaik, but is that really likely to be the root cause of the problem? It is hard to imagine that they all do this...

Ah, I see. I misunderstood your first reply; I thought you were saying that the stock fans were silenex.
All the internals on this thing are extremely clean, but I'll try removing and reseating the boards again after I am done repositioning it.

Hey, I'm pretty certain that your english is better than mine, 1031. I just didn't parse it correctly. Thanks for the response.
