|
I have been posting in the HDFury area regarding a problem with my BD 808. I finally realized the problem is the HDFury outputs Pos sync from my sources. Reading the manual, I see that Port 3 on the BD is capable of Pos or Neg sync with adjustment of a switch on the board. The manual shows a board number 98 26570, however when I pull the board from the unit it's number is R762426. What's going on?
Thanks
Tom

My BD808 accepts both positive and negative sync on port 3. Not aware of the switch you refer to. Im running the HDMI output from my Tosh HD2 to the fury and using the supplied port 3 adapter cable along with a 25 ft HDMI cable.

This switch, see attachment. I found some other posts regarding the contrast modulation board. Can I pull it without adverse affect? What is its purpose anyway?

It lower amplitude in the middle of the picture to prevent corner fall off effect and it also modulates red and blue to remove color sift effect. It's not needed with one projector set up and 1-1.4 gain FP screen. (or torus)
If you remove it, you need to put switcher cable straight to driver board.
