I've been buying and selling on Ebay since '99 without any problems. Now in the past 2 weeks I have 3 morons. First I have an item for sale and there is 4 days left. A lady emails me complaining about the shipping cost. Calling me a rip off and cheat. I responded that it you dont want to pay the amount then just dont buy it. Stop complaining. Then on another item I'm selling, after the auction is over the winning bidder contacts me and says if I dont let him back out of the auction he is going to make up bad feedback on me. So I file a complaint with Ebay and send them a copy of his email. (Like thats going to do any good). Now I get an email from someone I outbid on an item 8 days ago crying that I out bid him. Calling me a cheater bidder (what ever that is), and calling me slant eyes, and talking about my childhood. I wrote back telling him to wipe the tears from his eyes and have his mommy make him bottle and take a nap and maybe he'll feel better, at least until the next time he gets outbid. Where are these idiots coming from?
Sorry, but I just had to vent a little. I'm starting to feel like Curt is with UPS.

Doing what is right is not taught to a lot of people. They grow up learning that if they throw a fit, Mom, Dad, the government or whoever will step in and fix everything. I have had it happen to me a few times dealing with other people. I sell something on e-bay and I have bend over backwards to make the buyer happy, just so they do not screw up my feedback. I rent out our house to some people, they break the lease and want their deposit back and I give in knowing they could trash the house.
Lucky for me, being self-employed I get to pick and choose who I work for. If I get even the smallest hint that a customer is going to be a problem, "Sorry lady, too busy to do the job".
Buying or selling stuff off e-bay, I have learned that mediocre feedback could be a indication of problems, the poster can not really leave negative feedback fearing retaliatory feedback. If it reads "got item" or "arrived ok", I figure the poster was not really that happy with something.
Deron.
