I have the above pj. The first issue was there was no output from the tubes at all. I have replaced the V-board and SMPS board and now the tubes light up. The current problem is I cannot get anything to display. I have video connected to inputs 1 & 2 and neither one displays when selected. When I hit "adjust" on the remote the menu does not come up as indicated in the manual. There is no text displayed when the projector first fires up either. Any suggestions as to what to check next?
Thanks
Dan

When you say the tubes light up, you mean they have blank raster?

Do any error lights light up? Do any of the green lights on the RGB out boards, or any of the power supply light not light up?

Check controller cable connection to switcher board, if that's not connected everything goes like you describe.
I forgot it almost every time I remove switcher. Very Happy

Try input 5.
Chance switcher.
Chance controller.

OK, I had a little time to check out a few more things. Bear with my ramblings.
First the board LED's
Focus/g2 - All green LED's are on the red LED is off
Vertical board - Red on when input with no video selected, Red off when input with video selected.
H Board - Red LED on main board dim red all of the time, Red LED on daughter board off
Quad decorder board from front to rear of projector - 2nd LED green on, all others off

When I first powered up the projector I had forgotten to turn on the DVD player that I have connected to it. When I turned on the DVD player the tubes flashed bright for a second and then went back to the barely lit state. I could not duplicate this again.

If I select input 2 which has no video input or the "Adjust" button the tubes will go from the barely lit state to dark and then slowly back to the barely lit state. When I select input 1 which has a video source the tubes will go dark and then a single vertical bright line will come on the tubes, this will go away and the tubes will go back to the barely lit state.

I am almost positive that this unit has brand new tubes in it. There is no burn it at all and all of the electronics on the tube are completely clean and it looks like there has been some new leads connected to them. (this could be some of the problem). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dan
