Im new to the home theater world i have a sony 1271 if i try to adjust the color it comes as not aplicable i tried buyinga s cable still wont work tried adjusting the color through the dvd player but not as much adjustment as i would like.Im getting hooked on getting this setup correctly any help apreciated!

I would recommend getting the installation manual and reading it thoroughly first. I downloaded mine for free from somewhere, I think it was sony esupport. If you hold the test button down for about five seconds it will go into serviceman mode and you will find you can do a lot more with the adjustments. The manual helps with those a lot. Smile

Also, to adjust color, you can't use the "color" control for RGB related inputs. You can however uses the bias/gain controls to adjust the color. Learn about all of the service man settings, and you will start figuring it all out.
