So, no love with my Marquee at this time.
My marquee won't give a picutere. It gives a crackle from the HV at startop, in my imagination not as loud as normal, but not sure. The projector won't give any errors. When it's "running" there is no image on the tubes and there is also no image on the tubes. I needed to adjust g2, because of a tube swap and didn't do that already, so I can see that there is no image at all.
Any ideas what to do first? How can i test what's wrong and need to be replaced?
Thanks!

Have you already swapped the tube. If so it may be as simple as a loose or missing connection, do you get internal menu's

The projector worked, it stopped working. So the change of a loose connection is not big. I pressed and reseated everything. Also no menu's/pattern

Wow inventing Ampro bashing in a non Ampro thread. You'll make your quota for sure.

Reseat the HDM, turn the set on and off twice and see if on the second power up, if any error lights come on on the back of the set.

THat sounds like a bad VIM. I've had those LEDs light up in error like that when the VIM went bad.

Damn, it's a 03p VIM, that's not an easy one to find....
Can is check something simple to be sure it's the VIM?

Yes, disconnect the main connector cable that connectors the neck boards to the mother board. It's the one with the black wires and with multi-pin connectors on each end.
You can do one at a time, or start by pulling all three from the mother board. Don't worry about the RCA, leave them connected.

Yep. If somehow the protect circuit was damage on any of the neck boards from you changing out the tube, the HV will not happen.
If you start out removing them all and the high voltage comes back, you should know what to do next.

I will do that first. FYI the projector did run after the swap, so most likely something went damaged.

You can also swap in any VIM, even one from an older 8000 and see if it fires up. the 8000 VIM will not work properly, but you will get a picture. I can repair the -03.

Ok, finding a "spare" over here is difficult. But i will give it a try. The 8000 won't work, but will an 8100 and up do fine?

Tried the suggestions. The HV will not come up. It makes an attemp, but won't come fully on. (Sounds stupid..)
Is an marquee 9000 projector a good source for a VIM, or is that also a not fully functional item?
