|
|
I recently won an auction for a Sony PC-1271 Switcher. I already had one and now with the two I have all the inputs I want.
1.) This switcher came with two component cards. I can't find an IFB model number anywhere on the card. I don't mean an IFB-12 that can be used either for RGB or component, but a dedicated component card. Anyone know anything about this card? What resolutions can it accept?
2.) My first switcher had an IFB-12 card. The section of manual I have is for the IFB-12a. How are they different? In the manual, it says that to set it for component, the section DIP switch must be up with all others down. The it says for HDTV YPbPr the third DIP switch must be up. With the DIP set for HDTV YPbPr, will it then accept HD resolutions for input? Which resolutions? Also there is a DIP setting for HDTV GBR - what's that?
I recently bought a Moome EXT-HD but now I think I'd rather have a Moome IFB card or two for HDCP encryption. I have a Cresendo RTC2200 for gamma. This would be the simplest switching solution for me. Any negatives to this?
Is a manual available for the PC-1271 anywhere? Does it also have information about the various IFB cards?
