Is this a silly post to make? I couldn't find this particular bit of info when I was trying to decide whether to bother having an out of town relative send me this thing, so maybe here it is for the next guy.

No troubles, and it works very reliably from all over the room, including bounced off the screen, but you do have to hold your finger on the lcd for the 2 seconds. I expect a macro could fix that, but I haven't played with it too much yet. It seems like a nice little unit, for all its lack of PC-programability. It will certainly do what I need.
