What is the trick to removing the anode lead from the tube on a Ampro 4600?

I replaced a few of these recently. Use a razor blade to cut it off and clean up any silicone that is left on the tube.
Very simple to do.

Whoops. I thought you meant yanking the HV out of the transformer, like I had to do
I didn't read closely enough.
