Two or three months back I emailed Costco's main office to complain that I felt they were doing a terrible job selling HDTVs without selling anything to play HD movies on. Well, imagine my surprise when I walked into the neighborhood Coscto and staring at a bunch of Samsung Blu-ray players selling for $449. I do not remember the model of this unit, but it was advertising 1080P on the box.
Oh, and just a couple of weeks earlier a friend and I stared at a single box A2 sitting on their shelf for $249.
Yet, the only movies I'd seen were 4-movie boxed sets of Blu-ray and HD DVD, but they were not really any deal.
