Hi all, as you are no doubt aware - I now have a Vision 1 but its an older one with the ugly (sorry Gino) stock Marquee case.
If anyone has a nice Vision 1 case, let me know.
I'm on the hunt for Ultra parts too.
Cheers

Derfla should have a nice custom built case based on the Vision One case molds.

Derfla is a forum member here, who(last I knew anyhow), had a set of molds for the Vision One cases and was custom making them for those who were interested. He can make them with any finish you prefer. Try shooting him a PM. I am sure some of the other forum members here will chime in about the subject.

What a headache that turned out to be.
I BOUGHT the molds used to make those exact cases. And had them sent to Derfla. They're his, now. I think. He's reported that it's a lot more effort to get a good set of case parts from them than you might think. And they weren't in as good a shape as they were
advertised to be in. I guess you could say that I got ripped off by the seller, at least marginally. Derfla put a lot of work into
repairing those molds.
Technically, I guess I still own those molds. But I'm not about to ask for them back! My deal with a local fiberglas shop to build cases
from those molds fell through when the shop closed.
Some day, I'd like a set in metallic blue. And I don't even demand an exact fit. I'd be totally happy to just have that one set for myself.

I have one Vision 2 case in black here in decent shape, minor scrapes, nothing major. Pulled it off an 8110 that wasn't good enough for it.
I'm also getting a pebble finish one in along with a white one (Vision 2).
Not sure if I'm selling the cases separately at this point or keeping them with the sets.

Guys!
Vision One and Vision Two cases are Not The Same in front, the position of the tubes and lenses are different by several fractions of an inch both vertically and sideways, the nose sections are different for the two case versions.

Tim is correct there is no way to get a 8" front section to fit a 9" and vice versa, they have completely different molds. You could however cut out the hole center. Instead of three holes there would only be one big one, I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.

I've managed to contat Chris Dole, the guy with the first Defla mk1 (?) case. He's sending me the case once we work out a cheap method of shipping it
Kind regards

I think that WAS done. I've seen photos of a variant that had the front section as just a frame of sorts,
with lens foam filling the gaps between the lenses.

Tim,
That's why he purchased the Vision2 case from me. Because his Vision1 case wouldn't fit. I thought I said that?
