I'm hoping you guys can help me with a specific list of things I need from a pre/pro. I'm currently using an Outlaw Audio 950 and like it a lot, but it doesn't have some of the things I need, so I'm about to trade-up if I can find something that fits.
This is what I need, it's my make-or-break list and you'll notice that HDMI/DVI is not on the list:
-Max price of $1200 used or new
-5.1 processing for DD and DTS
-Discrete on/off (without needing workarounds)
-At least six digital audio inputs (coax or s/pdif)
-RS-232
-Dual Subwoofer
-Six Channel analog input & 7 channel output (dual sub)
-Ability to choose names for inputs
-Lip Synch Delay
-On Screen Display
The outlaw 990 has most of the things on my list, but not everything. So I'm still looking.

I don't know what feature the Outlaw is missing, but the Sherwood Newcastle P-965 has everything on your list.
